Shackleton are pleased to welcome a new member to our technical team, Martin Mackay.
Martin recently graduated from Abertay University with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Computing and Networks. Originally from Thurso, the most northerly and wettest town in the mainland UK, Martin has now settled in Dundee with his girlfriend, also from Thurso. They are now basking in the sunshine of the sunniest city in Scotland, Dundee!!
Martin enjoys a wide variety of sports, mainly as a spectator, but does play for a Uni team called LMA galaxy in a 11 aside Sunday league, as a speedy winger. He has already upset the Shackleton Tech team by proving pretty handy at ping pong. He practices Judo and has been a member of the Caithness Judo club for 16 years but now looking for a club in Dundee. A keen musician, Martin has been playing the guitar for a good few years now.
For his first few months with Shackleton, Martin will be focussing on the implementation project of our new Network Management System.
