Dundee’s half marathon on Sunday 27th June saw a strong Shackleton line up at the start line; James, Martin and Steve all doing their bit for charity. It was a slightly less lively trio at the finish line with Steve, the elder statesman, finishing well ahead in 01:51:54. Martin, the young pretender, was not far behind at 01:53:21. James, the young lad, suffered a pulled muscle at around 9 miles but with typical Shackleton determination struggled on to pass the finish line in 02:42:22.
