Leandra joined the Shackleton team in July as a Service Desk Coordinator. Many of you will have spoken with Leandra when phoning our service desk team so we thought it’s time for you to get to know her better via our series of team interviews.
After graduating from university, I spent a total of twelve years working in a variety of roles within corporate environments that have involved systems management, process improvement, co-ordination of customer deliveries.
I would describe my role as coordinator of the client tickets raised. I may be the first point of contact for many clients, be it via the client portal, email or over the phone. Ultimately, I’m looking to ensure our clients have their tickets resolved in a prompt and efficient manner.
I enjoy speaking with our clients, being able to deliver a resolution to tickets raised and the diversity of the role – every day is different. And, of course, working with our fantastic team here in the office!
The best moment of my life so far was when my daughter was born.
I’d like to meet Lady Gaga. I’m a big fan of her music, particularly her earlier work but she’s a diverse character and I think she’d be quite inspirational.
I have sung karaoke but very badly! I don’t have a song because I generally try and stay away from it – I just sing along when someone else is singing a good song.
I like Jimmy Carr, I went to see him once when he was in Dundee. I enjoy his quick wit and dry sense of humour.
I’d like to visit Australia; I love the sun and it looks like an amazing place.
As a vegetarian, it’s either a margarita or a veggie pizza – just no mushrooms please!
