Shackleton Technologies is an IT Managed service provider based in Dundee and servicing clients throughout Scotland and beyond.

We are in an exciting period of growth with ambitious goals, and we are now looking for an experienced Client Account Executive to join our team.

The Client Account Executive will sit within our Business Development Team and will work to develop and nurture relationships with our clients, delivering the levels of client service and satisfaction we are known for.

Serving as the key point of contact for a portfolio of clients, you will work with them to improve their businesses through ensuring their systems are future-proof, secure and meeting their IT requirements and business objectives.

Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented, has a good knowledge of client service best practices and exceptional organisational skills.

Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to delivering high quality client relationships and help our team achieve sales and marketing targets.

Your New Role

First point of contact for all client business matters
Maintaining and building client relationships through regular meetings, phone calls and other touch points
Reviewing information and data with a client regarding their IT infrastructure
Work closely with our technical team to provide an overall excellent client experience with an emphasis on making their business better

Regular written communication including reports and proposal writing
Help identify and communicate areas of improvements to our clients
Prepare and send quotes for client approval
Place and track orders for hardware

What you will need to succeed

Proven experience as a Client Account Executive or in a Client Relationship/client facing role
Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, able to prioritise work
First-class verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail

Proactive and dynamic, results orientated problem solver
Skilled at evaluating options and generating solutions
A degree of technical knowledge is desirable
A team player with high level of dedication
