Shackleton Technologies is an IT Managed Services provider based in Dundee. We are currently looking for additional people to join our team.

Our business provides a core set of services: IT Strategy, Projects, Consultancy, IT Best practice, and IT support.

We have a loyal client base and aim to understand our clients’ business, working to align their IT infrastructure towards delivering their business goals.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Project Engineer.

You will work alongside our Project Manager to lead the implementation and delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects to our varied client base.

This is a rewarding role for a highly motivated individual that involves implementing a wide range of projects for a diverse range of small and medium business clients.

You will use your initiative and have the autonomy to prioritise your workload in a rapidly growing department.

Open-mindedness and a desire to work with new and innovative technologies are essential. You will be encouraged to bring ideas to the table and assist in developing new services and solutions as time goes on.

Your New Role

Common project implementations include (but are not limited to):

Server Installs & Migrations – physical, virtual (Windows Hyper-V) & hosted (co-located and Microsoft Azure)
Networking Installations & Upgrades (Next-Gen Firewalls, L2 + L3 Aruba, Cisco & Ubiquiti Switches & Wireless solutions)
Office 365 Implementation (Email and SharePoint data migration)
Latest Security Enhancements (Antivirus, AntiSpam, DKIM/DMARC, Web Filtering and Microsoft Azure security)
Automation and Centralised Deployment (Microsoft Endpoint Management/Intune)
Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Solutions
Hosted VoIP (Gamma Horizon, Microsoft Business Voice)
