With a background in accountancy and finance, Steve truly understands how the right IT strategy can improve profitability. Steve oversees the strategic direction of the business and ensures Shackleton stays abreast of the changes in its marketplace.

Marcin manages the Shackleton Network Operations Centre (NOC) services. He has a detailed understanding of desktop and server infrastructure support, from working with a large automotive company, the world’s largest professional services firm, local authorities, Government education agencies and SMEs.

Brian started his career in hardware repair of PCs, monitors and printers. Since then he has progressed to deliver all forms of IT support and has gained invaluable international experience working for large companies in Paris, London and Edinburgh.

Sharon started her working life in the NHS but yearned for a more challenging career. In 2002 she enrolled on a course in book-keeping, becoming a self-employed book-keeper in 2004. She enjoys working with numbers and ‘balancing the books’.

Morgan joined Shackleton in July 2018 following the successful completion of an Apprenticeship Desktop Technician role at the University of St Andrews. Morgan very quickly progressed to the next level of expertise within our Service Desk team following experience of working with a diverse range of clients and technologies. Morgan has his sights set firmly on progressing his career within Shackleton.

History recognises Sir Ernest Shackleton as possibly the strongest and most inspirational leader of the twentieth century. His name is regarded alongside Captain Robert Falcon Scott and Roald Amundsen as one of the greatest heroic pioneers of Antarctic exploration, in the early part of the twentieth century.
Sir Ernest became the inspiration for our company’s name due to his strong links with Dundee, where Shackleton Technologies is headquartered.
He was 1st officer on the famous RRS Discovery and his primary sponsor for the 1914/15 Endurance expedition was Sir James Key Caird, a philanthropical jute manufacturer from Dundee.
